Roxton is an inclusive school, embracing the fact that every child is different. Therefore, we make every effort to meet the needs of any child, regardless of aptitude, ability or special need.

Children experiencing learning difficulties are initially identified by their class teachers. Parents will be fully consulted if the school has any concerns about a child’s progress and possible steps that can be taken will be discussed.

The role of the School’s SENDCO is to work with children, staff and parents or carers to support and meet the needs of children experiencing difficulties in their learning.

If you would like more information about any aspect of Special Educational Needs, please first speak with the class teacher and then the Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator Miss Jess Creed.

Appointments can be made via the school office by calling 01234 870230 or emailing
